Welcome!

  • "It was a few months after I decided to work on my mental health that I met Cat. From the first session I knew she was the perfect person to help me. I said ‘work’ because deciding to address mental health is nothing short of that, and Cat has been here for me every step of the way. In our time together she has listened intently, asked questions to help me understand my own mind, and has provided some of the most amazing suggestions (like Classpass!) based on what I have shared with her. Our sessions never feel awkward like some people describe therapy - I knew from the first day that I could share as much or as little about something as I felt comfortable, and I never felt judged or uneasy in a session. Although our sessions are not as frequent as they used to be, primarily because Cat has helped me grow so much that I don’t need to see her as much, I still look forward to each one knowing that I will leave it feeling better than I did at the start."

  • "I started speaking with Cat almost a year and a half ago to work through short-term postpartum depression and longer-term OCD and social anxiety. I'd tried talk therapy several times in the past, but with no luck--finding the therapists to be too clinically detached; they never really seemed to "get" me. From our very first conversation, Cat was warm and inviting, taking the time to truly understand my needs and struggles. Speaking with her feels like talking to an old friend who knows me better than I know myself. She is able to help me understand the challenges I go through, and apply specific techniques that work for me. Since coming to her, I have learned to better communicate with my husband, family and friends, to approach stressful situations with a clearer head, and to give myself grace and love when in the past, my inner dialogue would have turned negative. Beginning talk therapy with Cat was one of the best decisions I've made for myself, and continues to be one of the most important ways that I practice self-care!"
